Regulations for the Climbing Wall

Found on the premises of the Inca Play playground

1. These climbing wall regulations ( hereinafter referred to as “Regulations” ) determine the rights and obligations of users of the Climbing Wall found on the premises of the Inca Play playground. Entry into the Climbing Wall area is equivalent to accepting these Regulations and Regulations of the Inca Play playground. The entity in charge of operating and maintenance of the Climbing Wall and the “Inca Play” playground and introducing these Regulations in Magic City Sp. z. z. 2. The user receives the right to enter the climbing wall area on the basis of a purchased dedicated ticket allowing the use of the climbing walls. The purchase of a ticket is equivalent to the acceptance and acknowledgement of the Regulations of the Inca Play playground and Regulations for the Climbing Wall.

3. A ticket for the climbing wall is a timed ticket for 0.5 hours. The 30 minutes includes the time necessary to put on a safety harness, take a short instruction course, climb and take off the harness. It is also possible to purchase a combined ticket with the playground for 1, 2 or 3 hours according to Inca Play playground pricing.

4. The climbing wall may only be used by children under the care/supervision of a rightful guardian and Inca Play employee and adult person i.e. a person who is 18 years old or over.

5. Before using the climbing wall it is required to fill in a consent form, familiarise oneself with these Regulations, the Regulations of the Inca Play playground, and to purchase a ticket according to the current price list.

6. The climbing wall is dedicated for persons with a maximum weight of 140kg.

7. The minimum age of the climbing wall user must be 6.

8. The use of the climbing walls is only allowed in the presence of an Inca Play playground employee.

9. Using the climbing wall requires the submission to any comments and advice of the climbing wall employee and the Inca Play playground employee.

10. The presence of a group guardian is required in the case of organised groups, for the entire time the group uses the climbing walls.

11. The group guardian is responsible for passing on all information contained in these Regulations as well as the Regulations of the Inca Play Playground.

12. Each user uses the climbing wall only after submitting the appropriate consent form.

13. The user uses the climbing walls at his/her own responsibility and risk.

14. The user of the climbing wall is required to receive all equipment necessary for using the wall safely from the Inca Play playground employee and use this equipment (safety harness) for the entire time of the activity.

15. The maximum number of persons allowed to climb and be present in the climbing area is visible on the identification plate of the climbing wall, located in a visible place on the surface of the wall. The information on the identification plate is defined in standard PN-EN 12572.

16. Beginner climbers are required to contact the wall operator, that is the playground employee. The operator carries out an initial instruction course in the scope of top belay. In the case of beginner climbers, climbing and protection/ belay are only possible following the playground employees acceptance.

17. Users are absolutely obliged to follow orders/ prohibitions of the playground employees.

18. t is forbidden to act in any way which may be dangerous to oneself or others while using the climbing wall, and especially:
a. Interfering with someone’s climbing or protection
b. Climbing over or under another person
c. Belaying while sitting down

19. Only persons currently climbing or belaying are allowed directly under the wall. It is forbidden to leave any objects or equipment (especially belaying equipment and carabiners), bags, bottles or ropes in jump areas (3 metres from base of wall)

20. Persons who do not respect safety requirements, do not follow the instructions of Playground employees and do not follow the regulations of the Climbing Wall may be requested to leave the premises of the Inca Play playground immediately. The above does not entitle a User to receive a refund for purchased tickets.

21. Magic City Sp. Z o. o. shall endeavour to maximise the safety of climbing wall users, by, amongst others, using certified equipment, carrying out regular inspections, standardising courses, communicating safety rules and the enforcement of these Regulations. Such activity increases safety, but does not guarantee it absolutely.

22. Failure to comply with safety regulations and the Regulations of the Climbing Wall, Regulations of the Inca Play Playground, releases Magic City Sp. Z o. o. and the employees of the Inca Play Playground of all responsibilities for such actions. A user who violates these rules is responsible for any arising consequences in relation to each other and third parties.

23. If one is a witness to the violation of these Regulations, they should inform an Inca Play employee about this fact.

24. In case of injury, one should inform an Inca Play employee about this immediately.

25. Only an instructor/ climbing wall operator is allowed to change climbing holds (create climbing routes).

26. Persons using the climbing walls are required to inform personnel of any damage (cracks) and loose climbing holds.

27. An instructor/ climbing wall operator or Inca Play playground employee must be informed immediately about any damage discovered.

28. The contents of these Regulations and user instructions must be familiarised before the commencement of climbing.

29. It is forbidden to be present in the climbing area for purposes other than climbing.

30. The climbing wall may only be used by persons who do not have any medical restrictions.

31. Climbing is only allowed using protection/ belay.

32. Only climbers and Inca Play playground personnel providing belay are allowed in the climbing area.

33. Climbing is permitted on designated routes and elements. It is forbidden to climb elements providing information or elements of the construction.

34. It is forbidden to install belay equipment arbitrarily.

35. The equipment used for climbing is certified, functional, used only for its intended purpose.

Terms of TrueBlue belay use
36. Before climbing using the TrueBlue auto belay system, each User must undergo compulsory training carried out by an Inca Play playground employee.

37. Auto belay may only be used by persons weighing up to 140kg.

38. Before climbing, it is necessary to check if the device rolls up the belay tape properly. The belay tape should roll up automatically.

39. Each climb requires the checking of the belay carabiner’s auto belay. It should be properly clipped, locked and secured.

40. It is forbidden to climb above or sideways to the TrueBlue belay rope.

41. If the tape is not functioning properly, climbing must be stopped immediately and an Inca Play playground employee must be informed of this.

42. Before abseiling, one must check whether the area underneath is clear of obstacles. If it is, abseiling is done feet first, facing the wall.

43. It is absolutely prohibited to move sideways or forward when clipped into a belay, belaying is used only to ascend and descend a wall.

General rules for using the climbing wall
44. Users, Guardians with children and any other persons present near the climbing walls are obliged to maintain cleanliness and order.

45. It is forbidden to smoke tobacco, electronic cigarettes or iquos type cigarettes, drink alcohol or take other intoxicants in the climbing wall area.

46. Persons under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants are forbidden from entering the climbing wall area.

47. The removal of climbing equipment and any construction elements is forbidden. The vandalising person or a child’s guardian are liable for any destruction or damage done to elements of the climbing wall by a child.

48. Animals are forbidden from entering the climbing wall area.

49. All complaints should be made at the playground reception on the day of the visit. Complaints made at a later date will not be accepted. The basis of a complaint/ claim is the proof of payment for the service, and the submission of a complaint protocol. The claim will be addressed within 14 days of its submission.

50. The Inca Play Administrator shall inform that, for security purposes, the entire perimeter of the climbing walls is covered by video monitoring.

51. The methods of processing personal data, which Magic City Sp. Z o. o. is the administrator of, as well as the rights and demands of persons whose personal data is being processed, is described in the Inca Play Privacy Policy found on the www.incaplay.pl website and in information point of the Inca Play playground. These Regulations are supplemented by: Regulations for the Organisation of Birthday Parties, Regulations for Organised Groups, Inca Play Bistro Regulations, Blue City Shopping Centre Regulations and Inca Play Privacy Policy, available on the www.incaplay.pl website and at the “Inca Play” playground information point. 53. Administrative matters not included in these Regulations are decided by the entity responsible for operating the “Inca Play” Playground, defined in pt 1 above.
